OCTOBER 11 IS ROCKET DAY WITH DAKOTA DADS
PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE HIGH WINDS EXPECTED ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27,
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11.
Build a real, high-flying model rocket with your kids and launch it with other Dakota Dads on October 11 at Riverdale Park!
Our "Dakota Dad" rockets are engineered to be easy to build and safe - no Rocket Science is necessary.
Check-in and Preflight begins at 2:45 pm with Launches starting at 3:15 pm and ending approximately 5:00 pm.
Prizes will be awarded for especially creative (but safe!) decoration as well as for the first rocket lost, best catch and longest run.
$10 rocket registration includes registration fee, rocket kit, solid propellent motor, ignitor with the remainder going to help fund future Dakota Dads events.
PARTICIPATION IS LIMITED to the first 50 Dads who register & purchase, so reserve your place (and rocket!) today.
One rocket per child, please - only official "Dakota Dad" rockets will be allowed to launch on this event.
